Printmaking Services

At Dragonfly Imaging & Printing, our attention to detail and the finest quality materials produce flawless archival fine art prints from original works, slides, or digital files. Our prints are a beautiful interpretation of your work with a wide colour gamut and high resolution. Prints can be up to 44" wide by virtually any length.

Multiple prints can be ganged-up and charged at the single larger size to provide savings.

Substrates: Paper & Canvas

Museum-quality watercolour papers and canvas are the standard fine art media for printmaking in our studio.

We stock:

  • rag watercolour papers including Arches Infinity and Arches Aquarelle in hot and cold press, as well as Somerset Velvet. We have roll stock in several widths and premium weight sheets.
  • two types of premium canvas: matte and glossy. Reproductions are generally better on matte canvas, whereas vivid photographs might benefit from the more reflective glossy surface.

Additional substrates are available on special order. Pricing information and substrate details can be found here.

Reproduction Packages & Imaging Services

Set-up packages are for those artists who require both imaging and printing services. Set-up includes consultation, image capture, and all digital file adjustments including colour and tone correction, spotting, sharpening, and print file preparation. Also included in the package are 8x10 proofs as required for colour correction.

We also provide a la carte imaging services such as photography, high resolution scans, and digital file adjustments. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Prices details on reproduction packages and imaging services can be found here.

Finishing Services

We can suggest, as part of your consultation, various methods to finish your print. Our services include deckling the edges of watercolour paper and gallery stretching and coating of canvas prints.
