The proof or test print

Unlimited proofs are included in the set-up package. After you review and compare the initial proof to your original, we make the necessary adjustments. If required, additional test prints will be done at no extra charge.

The final approved proof becomes the BAT (bon a tirer). Your prints are created once we have an initialed BAT. The digital print file and the BAT are archived at Dragonfly for your future printing needs.

Set-up packages

Set-up packages are available for artists doing reproductions. The set-up is a one-time expense and includes consultation, photography and/or scan, digital imaging, interactive proofing, and a CD-ROM with a copy of the original scan.

Two adjusted jpg images are also included at no extra charge: one sized for your website and one suitable for printing at 4"x6". Please remember to store and back-up your files. There will be a charge to recreate them at a later date.

Digital imaging includes colour and tone correction, sharpening, clean-up, and print file preparation. Extensive restoration and repair may incur additional charges. As a special service to our customers we will also create, as part of the setup package, a colour matched border for the sides of canvas prints.
